I Am Bopie

bopie

I've always loved cooking and experimenting with food. But my desire for baking came along when my husband bought me a Kitchen Aid mixer for my 30th birthday.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth (aka Bopie - pronounced bop-e) and I love to bake!

Bopie is a name I have been called since I was a little girl. When I was young I had a very hard time pronouncing Elizabeth, and I began calling myself Bopie. And it has stuck for 32 years. Growing up I was very "nosy" in the kitchen and loved being around when my mother, father or grandmother were cooking. Since then I have become more and more inquisitive and began to understand that you must put a lot of "love" and "passion" into whatever you do. And I have been trying to find my "passion" for quite some time. And I believe baking is my calling. Bopie Cakes is a new chapter in my life and I look forward to sharing a piece of me with you!
